Terms and conditions

By registering for the ReactConf AU (RCA) Event, you agree to accept the following Terms and Conditions.

Registration

Registration fees are in Australian dollars and are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax, analogous to Value Added Tax VAT, and other sales taxes).

Student registration rates apply only to full-time students and you may be asked to provide a photocopy of a student card and/or a letter from the tertiary institution confirming full-time student status.

Your registration is confirmed when you receive an email notification and receipt from the organiser, Thinkmill Events Pty Ltd ("Thinkmill").

Payment

All payments must be received in full by Thinkmill prior to the commencement of the event. If full payment is not received by this time, you will not be allowed access into the event.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be notified in writing to Thinkmill, by email to admin@reactconfau.com. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations, however, substitute delegates will be accepted without charge.

Code of conduct

At all Thinkmill events the highest standards of respectful and supportive behaviour are expected. This includes treating all fellow attendees and staff fairly and with dignity, courtesy and respect and not engaging in any conduct which a reasonable person would deem to be unwelcome, offensive, humiliating or intimidating. Photography / Filming at Events

Participants understand and agree that they may be photographed, filmed and/or recorded at Thinkmill events and these may be used in Thinkmill publications and promotional materials. If you do NOT wish your image to be used please advise Thinkmill of that in advance, by email to admin@reactconfau.com, and then make yourself known to the organisers prior to the commencement of the event.

Sharing registrations

Thinkmill does not allow shared registrations.

Changes to the Event

Thinkmill reserves the right at any time to change the format, content, speakers, location and timing or any other aspect of the Event.

Event postponement / cancellation

Thinkmill reserves the right at any time to postpone or cancel the Event or any part of the Event, and will not be liable to the attendee for any damages, costs, losses or expenses of any kind incurred or suffered as a result.

If the Event is cancelled or postponed by Thinkmill, attendees will be notified in writing and will be refunded the registration fee.

Communications

As an attendee of the ReactConf AU event you will be automatically added to:

  1. The ReactConf AU community database. If at any point you wish to opt out of this group please email that request directly to admin@reactconfau.com

  2. The ReactConf AU community Slack workplace reactconfau.slack.com. You may opt out of that membership by not activating the invitation which will be emailed to you.

Thinkmill reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, and will provide the most recent version on our website.
